Objectives

A: Supporting all activities of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra (RFO), broadening its audience and connecting people with the music of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Among other things, the foundation offers financial and organisational support, undertakes educational and innovative projects and organises activities that involve the public more closely with the orchestra. The foundation also aims to promote music practice and musical development in the Netherlands;

B: The performance of all other actions that are related to the above in the broadest sense or that may be conducive to it.

Supporting all activities of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra (RFO), broadening its audience and connecting people with the music of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Among other things, the foundation offers financial and organisational support, undertakes educational and innovative projects and organises activities that involve the public more closely with the orchestra. The foundation also aims to promote music practice and musical development in the Netherlands.

 

Board composition

The board of the foundation shall consist of a number of at least three directors to be determined by the board. The members of the board shall be appointed and suspended by the board. Vacancies shall be filled as soon as possible. The board shall elect a chairman, a secretary and a treasurer from among its members. The positions of secretary and treasurer may be filled by one person. Board members: F. Klein - Drs. D.F. Potjer, ASIP - N.A. Bakker - J.N.M. Zonderop.

 

Remuneration policy

The directors do not receive any remuneration for their work. They are, however, entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.

 

Activities to be organised

On the Friends' Day: a guided tour of our historical building; chamber music concerts, workshops and lectures given by our musicians; instrumental lessons and play-along concerts; snacks and drinks

Further: Reduction tickets for concerts and CDs; attendance at public rehearsals and lunch concerts; digital newsletter; meet and greet with musicians after the concert.
