The programming for the 2021-2022 season is now known. With the resident ensembles, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Groot Omroepkoor, and many guest ensembles, the AVROTROS Friday Concert presents another rich concert season. In the 2021-2022 season, the concerts are presented in three wonderful series. Each series will focus on the theme of 'the four elements'. There is special attention for the music of Skrjabin, Franck and Sibelius, and plenty of room for young talent.
Violinist Maria Milstein will be artist in residence next season. She will be playing chamber music with her sister and the Van Baerle Trio, soloing in Bruch and presenting a brand new violin concerto.
