Frits Wagenvoorde

Frits Wagenvoorde was born in Deventer in 1955. He studied violin with Jeanne Lemkes and Viktor Liberman. During the 1989-1990 school year he was a guest teacher at the Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Frits Wagenvoorde has been employed by the Netherlands Radio Music Centre since 1981. He was a member of the second violins of the Radio Chamber Philharmonic and since August 2013 of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. He also worked for the Education Department of the Netherlands Broadcasting Music Centre, in which context he regularly gave workshops to schools, and was editor of the staff magazine MCONieuwZ.
