Carla Meijers

Carla Meijers was born in Terneuzen and studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. In 1982 she graduated as a performing musician. Her teacher was Paul Verheij.

Carla has been associated with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since 1983. She is also a regular guest with other ensembles, including the Schönberg Ensemble. Carla is an enthusiastic sportswoman and plays tennis, cycles, does fitness and swims. She is also a board member of the Noordhollands Jeugdorkest (North Holland Youth Orchestra) and a woodwind rehearsal player for this orchestra.
