Great Broadcasting Choir and Maria Prudenskaya: Prokofiev and Sibelius

The Netherlands Radio Choir and mezzo-soprano Maria Prudenskaya sing Sergei Prokofiev's historical drama Alexander Nievsky. The Finnish top conductor Hannu Lintu leads the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sergei Prokofiev regularly worked as a composer for films. In Alexander Nievsky, moreover, the music was an integral part of the events on screen.
