Classical Top 400
Every year, the Classical Top 400 is a top hit at Radio 4. Listeners vote for beloved classics, or try to give their lesser known favourites a push. The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra plays a number of the 'usual suspects' in this cheerful and heart-warming concert. Handel, Massenet, Rossini and Tchaikovsky: you know them all and how wonderful it is to hear them in person.

Delamboye, Warenberg and Van der Werf
At the head of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra is Enrico Delamboye, a true opera specialist. He also brings along two prominent vocalists: countertenor Gerben van der Werf and soprano Maria Warenberg. They will sing parts from Handel's Rinaldo and Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann, among others. You will also hear highlights from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty.
