Mariska Godwaldt

Mariska Godwaldt has worked at the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep since 1998. She is first violinist with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.

She was born in 1973 in 's-Hertogenbosch and studied at the conservatoires in Utrecht and Amsterdam. In 1997 she obtained her diploma as Teaching Musician.
She then continued her studies for Performing Musician at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. She graduated there in 1999. Viktor Liberman and Vera Beths were her teachers.

Mariska has won various prizes, including that of the Iordens Viooldagen. She also performs regularly with the Amphion Piano Trio and recorded several CDs.
