Herman Nass

Herman Nass is first trombonist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. He was born in 1960 in Dordrecht and studied at the Rotterdam Conservatoire. His teachers were Gerard Velthuysen and George Wiegel. He graduated in 1984.

From 1983 to 1991 Herman was principal trombonist in the Gelders Orchestra. Since 1991 he has been associated with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Herman Nass is also a member of the Netherlands Trombone Quartet and the brass ensemble Hillstreet Brass.
