Franz Liszt Piano Competition
The twelfth International Franz Liszt Piano Competition will end on March 28, 2020. Then the best pianist will be chosen from three finalists. Franz Liszt himself was a hard worker. In keeping with his spirit, the winner will be able to start work immediately the next morning in the Concertgebouw. He or she will be soloing in the Capriccio alla turca. Based on a work by the much-loved Beethoven, Liszt has created a showpiece of note. You will hear the winner of the competition in a personal selection of Liszt's work. Otto Tausk leads the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in Roussel's Third Symphony. A spontaneous, charming and sometimes a little naughty work - the party can now really begin for the winner.
