National Youth Orchestra plays the Sacre

Programme

  • Lago Danzas soñados
  • Grieg Zur Rosenzeit
  • Brahms Von ewiger Liebe
  • Haydn Harmoniemesse

In this concert, the Nationaal Jeugdorkest and the 25th anniversary Storioni Trio join forces for a very special programme. The Storioni Trio will be soloing in the Triple Concerto by the Hungarian-British composer Emánuel Moór (1863-1931), originally written for the legendary Cortot-Thibaud-Casals trio. Then follows the world premiere of Hommage à Stravinsky by the young composer Bram Kortekaas, who studied under Willem Jeths and Wim Henderickx in Amsterdam. Stravinsky's revolutionary 'Springtime images from pagan Russia' conclude this concert.
