The annual Radio 4 Christmas concert from the Dom in Utrecht will be performed without an audience this year due to the recent coronation measures.
So unfortunately, no cosy get-together over mulled wine and Christmas bread, as we have been used to for the past ten years. But there was a beautiful, atmospheric programme of Christmas carols, performed by the Groot Omroepkoor, Ensemble Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and vocal soloists conducted by Benjamin Goodson. Organist is Pieter-Jan Belder; the presentation is by Ab Nieuwdorp.
