AVROTROS Classical Presents!

For years, the AVROTROS has been committed to young musical talent. The talent development program provides concerts and a CD recording that boost the career of the talents of the new generation. Today, no fewer than three major talents are in the spotlight. Clarinetist Gerbrich Meijer, violinist Emma Roijackers and pianist Shane van Neerden are the soloists of the near future.

Last season, for example, pianist Shane van Neerden was part of the Dutch Classical Talent tour and performed in many Dutch concert halls. Clarinetist Gerbrich Meijer also participated in this tour last season with her "one woman show. She was able to record her first CD thanks to the support of AVROTROS.

Violinist Emma Roijackers has been around longer and seems to have found her way to the top. She has been a guest at the International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht and plays regularly with Amsterdam Sinfonietta. She is also active internationally as a soloist. That this is only the beginning, she tells with her version of Dvořák's Romance.
